The homemade pastries were an absolute treat! The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely garden to admire during breakfast. It felt like a cozy retreat after all the culinary adventures.

Lovely spacious room with a great shower, but check-in at 5:30 PM felt too late for the price. Perfect spot near the beach!

Friendly hosts eager to accommodate guest needs.
Unfortunately, the absence of breakfast during my stay was disappointing, especially since it was a key expectation. I found the room to have a persistent damp smell which made me uncomfortable. The shower never reached desired temperatures and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired, further diminishing my experience.

great base for exploring youghal's waterfront and historical sites
during my stay at a quaint hotel, I found myself just a few steps away from the stunning waterfront and the rich history of Youghal, making it ideal for long morning walks to the nearby historic towers and the beautiful local park for relaxing views and leisurely strolls.

This was just a balanced option for an overnight stay in Youghal with high value for money. The hosts were very helpful and immediately provided utensils when we needed them. Consider asking for cleaning supplies if you plan to eat in your room.

The room offered decent space, and I appreciated the homemade pastries. they were a nice touch to the stay.
Unfortunately, the absence of breakfast was a letdown. I found the lingering damp odor in the room quite unpleasant, and the shower never got hot enough. the loose hot tap in the sink made using it a bit tricky. The view from the so-called 'garden' was mostly a car park and a damp wall, which really didn't deliver on expectations. Dust on the floor made the place feel neglected, and the heated towel rail inside the shower unit seemed a bit concerning, too.

Chur, the triple room was huge and comfy, but lacked a TV for the teens. Breakfast was simply delightful, heaps of yummy options!

The owners made us feel right at home when they switched our room to accommodate our daughter's needs, which was above and beyond. We loved lounging in the cozy garden and enjoying the quiet atmosphere while sipping coffee. It would have been nice to have better utensils for quick snacks, but they were very helpful when we asked for some.

excellent hospitality but minor check-in timing issue
The warm welcome from the owners made us feel right at home. Our room, beautifully decorated, provided a perfect sanctuary after our travels. The extensive breakfast menu, especially the yogurt, was a delightful way to start each day. We enjoyed the lovely garden view while we dined, adding a peaceful ambiance to our meals.
The check-in time at 5 PM felt a bit late given our early arrival.

The garden view mostly overlooked a car park, diminishing the appeal. The room lacked basic amenities, with dampness in the air and inconsistent shower temperatures. A notable disappointment was the absence of breakfast and milk for tea, which left a less than satisfying experience. the homemade pastries were a delightful exception, elevating one aspect of the stay.
